On December 19th, S&G Stores honored 43 local charities and organizations that are making positive impact on children’s lives.  At the event, S&G Stores donated to these charities a combined total of over $105,000. S&G Stores employees, elected state, county, city officials, and community leaders celebrated the event.  Thank you to S&G customers for their generous donations that allowed S&G to reach the fundraising goals.

Dan Dergham Ridi, founder and CEO of S&G Stores LLC, contributed $60,000.00 to the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo (ICGT). The Islamic Center of Greater Toledo (ICGT) is having a positive impact on our local community through the Islamic Food Bank, International  Festival and other local community events.

S&G Stores is locally owned and committed to local causes.

S and G Stores honored 27 local charities and organizations that are mainly helping kids; CASA, Big Brother Big Sister, Beach House, Connecting Kids to Meals, The Community Table, and Help Feed Toledo Area are among the charities and organizations recognized. At the event S&G Stores gave the charities a combined total of over $51,000. S&G Stores employees, representatives from the chosen charities, and special guests celebrated the event.

S&G Stores is proud the be the main sponsor for an event to support the Committee for Children through Lucas County Child Services. This organization does an amazing job helping the children of our community that are being placed into the foster care system.

At the event S&G Stores gave the charities a combined total of over $47,300.00. S&G employees, Elected State, County, City officials and community Leaders celebrated the event.

We would like to extend our deep gratitude and appreciation to S&G Store’s customers, for donating $19,200 during ‘S&G Stores Day of Thanks and Giving 3rd Annual Fundraising Event’. Your generosity made it possible for S&G Stores to donate $30,000.00 to 21 local charities helping Kids in our community. The health of a community should be measured by the compassionate actions of its citizens; the generosity of S&G Store’s customers and the level of motivation shown by S&G Store’s employees to raise money for local charities are clear evidence that we do live in a compassionate caring community.

​S&G Stores and In and Out Marts would like to thank our customers in Northwest Ohio for donating $13,315 to D.A.R.T. Your contribution enabled us to provide the D.A.R.T program with $23,315. Your generosity truly demonstrates the great Community we live in. Thanks to all our employees who worked so hard to make the fundraising event a success. Special thanks to the managers and employees who raised the most money. We thank Sheriff Tharp for the strong leadership he has demonstrated in the past 4 years serving Lucas County residence. Sheriff Tharp's love and passion for our community led him to establish the D.A.R.T program with the limited resources he had. The DART program currently is helping more than 2000 people deal with drug addiction. We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Sheriff Tharp and the DART team. Your hard work is saving many lives and in the process protecting kids here in Lucas County.  We are committed to helping organizations who are helping to improve kids’ lives here in Northwest Ohio. Thanks to all our customers for donating more than $8000 to Feed Lucas County Children. Our customer’s generosity inspired us to match the entire amount. On January 20, 2016 we presented Feed Lucas County Children with a check in the amount of $16,418.00. Because of our customers generosity many children will not go to bed hungry in our local community. Special thanks to all our employees who worked hard to make this fundraising event a success.
